Welcome to the Human Resources office at the Barre Supervisory Union.
We are here to assist employees with issues and questions related to life, health, and disability insurance; flexible spending accounts; wellness; personal, medical, or maternity leave; and workers compensation.
Each of our staff members is trained to answer your questions and guide you through the sometimes confusing steps (and paperwork!) involved in accessing your benefits. If you can't find the answers or information you're looking for in the links on this page, please contact one of our staff members during regular business hours.

The Barre Supervisory Union offers a wide range of health and dental plans that allow employees to tailor a plan to their unique needs, circumstances, and objectives. The plans are administered by The Vermont Education Health Initiative (VEHI), and answers to all of your questions about plans, costs, coverages, and more can be found by visiting the VEHI Website.

Workers Compensation
Workers Compensation provides healthcare and income benefits in the event you are injured on the job and incur expenses related to that injury. We recommend that all employees take a few minutes to familiarize themselves with our Workers Compensation Procedures in the event of an injury:
Leaves of Absence
It is possible that at one time or another, you will need to request a Leave of Absence under the Family Medical Leave Act or the Vermont Parental Leave Act. Should this ever be the case, there are a number of forms you will need to complete and return to the Human Resources office.
