Statement of Commitment:

 

The Barre Union Unified School District (BUUSD) recognizes that digital technology is integral to learning and educating today’s children for success in the global community and fully supports the accessibility of these resources by students, staff and community.  The district affirms its commitment to ensuring that people with disabilities have an opportunity equal to that of their nondisabled peers.  We want all learners to participate in the district’s programs, benefits, and services, including those delivered digitally. 

The accessibility for online content and functionality will be measured according to the World Wide Web Consortium’s (WC3’s) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA and the Web Accessibility Initiative Accessible Rich Internet Applications Suite (WAI-ARIA) 1.0 for web content, which are incorporated by reference.
